The Air band frequency coverage listed, (108-137 MHz) range is only applicable to models
which carried the unofficial designation of Air-8A. This later version appeared in the Sporty's
catalog I believe at some point in the 1990s. These models featured 6-digit serial numbers
compared to the 5-digit serial numbers of the original Air-8s which featured
Air band coverage from 108-136 MHz. |
